About the Author

My name is Adam Herald.  I am a husband, father, minister, sports fan, and procrastinator.  In spite of my procrastination I like to think that I have a creative mind.  I believe in a creative God that has given us all a creative mind. In essence that is the motivation for this blog.  My motivation is to inspire a community to live the life God has designed them to live. I don’t claim to be smart, intellectual, or have all the answers.  I do claim to be relational, creative, and a bit of an entrepreneur.

My problem is I have doubts.  Sometimes my doubts cause me to put things off and procrastinate.  My doubts handcuff me just like your doubts handcuff you.  You are not alone in your doubts, we all have them.

My prayer for this community is found in Psalm 118:22-25. I pray in spite of our doubt that God would show us is wonder and that Jesus would be our motivation. That He would allow us to live for today and that we would rejoice in that.  Then if He so chooses I pray that He grants us all success. Not this blog, not Adam Herald, but us… the procrastinators.

Psalm 1118:22-25
The stone that the builders rejected,
has now become the conerstone.
This is the Lord’s doing,

and it is wonderful to see.
This is the day the Lord has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Please, Lord, please save us.
Please, Lord, please give us success.

    Hi Adam!

Nice to see another blog for “recovering sluggards” like me! I am just back into “the word” again after being a caregiver to my family members for the last eight years. Wanted to retire from that job, but found it is what I am best at. God gave me the gift of service and mercy…what else can I do? Oh…except write…I’m an author, too! Best to you and your ministry!

    1. Cathy-
Thank you so much for you kind words. We all need encouragement to live for today and that is why I have chosen “procrastination” as my platform for this blog. It’s a daily battle so I hope and pray that my blog will touch the lives of many and encourage them to fight the good fight as Paul told Timothy.
      Grace and Peace,
      Adam
